In 2007, a white dream came to me.
A woman grieving,
A line of refugees leaving,
A distant village – intact but fading.
I woke up with Sudan on my mind.

White
The color of death,
Evaporation,
Vanishing.

Darfur
A crushed population,
Genocide.
